As a patch of good luck my mother had bestowed on me, I got the window as always. Now let me settle down for the next 24 hours. I am not afraid of the take off but I prefer to sleep then to see me hanging in midst of those clouds which make me feel uncomfortable. I woke up at the call of breakfast to find the scene at my left mesmerizing in the true sense. Flight steward told me that I was witnessing Afghanistan’s snow peaks and the first click was “the kite runner”. I was suddenly wide awake and more interested in the landscape then in my chocolate. It was extremely beautiful. The whether was pretty pleasant (it allowed me to watch that dumbo) and the scenic beauty too enchanting to let me sleep. All the pages right from khalid’s books started knocking at my minds door.

Afghanistan is really wonderful. I have no idea what it looks like once you get down but dreams do travel on clouds and let me be in it. Reality may bite. But those snow peaks were a treat to eyes.

Having no idea of how many hours I have spent gliding on those clouds I bumped in Frankfurt. It was still 1 o clock. That means it should be just 5 hours. Silly Shweta, sometimes you can be more pathetic then a fused bulb. But anyways the lady on the counter tried to direct me to the washroom in her highly French laden ascent which was hard to understand. And there I met this lucky devil. A Punjabi lady was traveling with her two kids. Elder kid monitored her sister very well as while her mother kept loosing her daughter in every two minutes, brother was very efficient to catch her back to mother and scold her in his cute Punjabi ascent” tune yahan kho jana hai!tujhe gore utha ke bahar fenk denge” god only knows what she understood but she never acted upon it. Finally I had to give her mother a hand to handle a bag so she can let her daughter board the plane.

Finally the day has come. The day I had been waiting for since long. I left Raipur for getting my visa done, and stayed at Delhi to collect it. On 13^th morning I had my plans to fly to states. Fortunately everything went well and now I am here waiting for the next surprise which the fortune holds for me.

I woke up at 4 AM (wait! did I say woke up????? I just left my bed.) maa n I were talking late at night about my hostel, college and many more things. Every time I meet her, be it just after 2 months, it feels like it has been ages since we talked like that. Maa n Papa came to see me off at airport. And then they left me at customs. I was just carrying few pain killers (my minds may wander but the head stays at its place to ache.) which came clean out of the checking. So I am here sitting and writing and praying for the flight staff to be nice with me (in case they like me), even if that can not be done at least the whether should be nice to me (my flight actually) and I should not get drowned in chilled water (I am prone to cold dude and if you never had that running nose and bullet sneezes, you can never understand my concerns.), the person sitting next to me should be a “easy-to-handle” stuff.

Prayers apart, the most terrible fact is I am a vegetarian and I am really worried what will I get to eat for next 7 days!!!!! Now if you are not made of all spices and curry you can not understand why a person doesn’t likes to live on sandwiches.

But for now, the call has been made and my 30 mins late flight is going to leave finally so better I should shut down my worry and make hurry so catch my AI137. may I land safe and may I get all my baggage intact once I land.
